Tracy A. Russell retired from a business career with Kaiser Permanente Health Plan in 1998 and moved to Tuolumne County with her husband Hank. They bought a historic landmark home in downtown Sonora and almost immediately became active in the community. She is a member of Sonora’s Parks, Recreation and Beautification Committee as well as a member of the Citizens Advisory Committee to the Sierra Conservation Center.
Tracy was raised in a rural town in Iowa, thus feeling right at home in Sonora. She moved to San Francisco with her family in 1965.
She is a graduate of John F. Kennedy University with a B.A. in Psychology. Tracy is in the Masters Swimming program and is a lifetime member of Omega Nu.
She and Hank have three sons and four grandchildren.
