Sierra Senior Providers, Inc. (SSPI) is a 501 (c)(3), non-profit organization that has been providing essential services to seniors of Tuolumne County for 29 years. Our mission is to play a key role for seniors of Tuolumne County by providing essential services that promote independence, enhance quality of life, health education, socialization and assist the elderly to remain in their homes.
2026 Meals on Wheels Radiothon
Right now, Sierra Senior Providers, Inc. is in the midst of hosting its major fundraiser of the year, the 2026 Meals on Wheels Radiothon, “More Than A Meal”, Friday, August 21st, 9am to Noon on Star 92.7 or KKBN 93.5 Central Sierra Broadcasting.
With heartfelt gratitude, we would like to convey a special “Thank You” to the Sonora Area Foundation for their matching funds grant up to $25,000 and their $10,000 Radiothon sponsorship! Thank you, Sonora Area Foundation, for your kind and generous community support.

New Subaru Forester
Other big news includes a recent anonymous community donation to the Senior Center Meals on Wheels program for the purchase of a new 2026 Subaru Forester. The new vehicle will help replace some of our rapid aging MOW vehicles. Thank you to our Community Supporter!!

Activities and Services
At the end of the fiscal year, June 30th, Meals on Wheels delivered just under 63,000 meals to 469 unduplicated clients. Additionally, the Senior Center served over 17,000 congregate meals.
The Senior Center provides a variety of community-wide activities and services for our Seniors, including but not limited to Firewood Delivery, BINGO (every 1st Sat.), Thrift Store (M-F,10-2), Community Presentations, Facility space for community use, Veterans Breakfast (every 1st Thur), Wood Carving, Pottery, Tai Chi, Chair Yoga, Duplicate Bridge, Craft/Quilting, Cribbage, Line Dancing, Pinochle, Mahjong, Dominoes and a variety of resource information for seniors, family members, caregivers and community organizations.
