Howard White, PMP graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Software Engineering, and led software development and technology initiatives for Bay Area Fortune 500 companies and smaller organizations. He later earned his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and led complex projects involving teams of up to 100 people.
In 2012, Howard and his wife, Nancy, moved to Columbia, a community they are deeply grateful to call home. Over the past decade, he has worked with more than 340 local small-business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs and more than 50 nonprofit organizations, helping them launch and strengthen their organizations, navigate challenges, and turn good ideas into meaningful action. Today, he continues that work through Pinnacle Strategic Advisory.
Howard serves on the boards of Spiritual Roads, which reaches people struggling with addiction; Love Tuolumne County, which connects residents, organizations, and resources to strengthen the community; Pat’s Pocket, which provides care, financial assistance and support to faith-based workers; and the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, which supports local businesses while preserving and promoting Columbia’s Gold Rush heritage. He also serves on the Leadership Team of a Celebrate Recovery group, a faith-based addiction recovery ministry.
Most of all, Howard treasures time with Nancy, their children and grandchildren. He feels blessed to use his experience, time, and energy to help people, strengthen organizations, and contribute to the community that has become home.
